Assignment:

Write approximately 2-3 pages, double-spaced, evaluating your own progress on the research paper assignment. In your writing, please address the following questions?

Do you have a clear research question? What is it? How and why did you decide upon this question?

Do you have a thesis statement? What is it?

How are you going to organize this paper (cause, effect, comparison, etc.)?

Have you found adequate research sources for your paper? What are a few of your important sources? What sources of information are you still missing, if any?

So far, what has been difficult for you about this assignment? What do you feel is going well?

What aspects of the project do you most need help with from the instructor and the class?

Please write in sentences and paragraphs: do not just give short answers to the list of questions.

You may write by hand or on the computer. You may give your paper to Ms. Ikeda, or send it as an e-mail attachment to Ms. Agard, aagard@peralta.edu. However, your e-mail must be sent by noon today (Friday, May 1).
